Fall 2024 Rewind

Last semester we were thrilled to announce that we had three new members join, but we can proudly and with excitement say this semester we had 10 new members join! Meaning as we continue into next semester we have 18 active members (as a few of our siblings graduated this semester)

The semester started off with Retreat! An amazing time were all the siblings are able to stay up late socializing and having the time of their lives will bonding on a deeper level. While at retreat we prepared from recruitment both the tabling and the events we will hosting,

At the end of recruitment week we had so many interested members and offered 10 bids! We are so grateful for Diana Bello and Crystal Hernandez for hosting amazing events and getting so many people interested in Alpha Sigma Theta.

Soon after we started with the new member classes. A time were the new members can learn about traditions and get to know each other. Throughout this process the new members meet active siblings and decide on a "Big" which is like a role model and mentor throughout their time in the sorority.

We hosted many events in order to get the chapter engaged and bonded and even hosted pumpkin paint nights, Friends-giving and White Dolphin (White Elephant). These events allowed our chapter to get to know each other on a more personal base instead of just a business professional setting.
