Alpha Sigma Theta is a sisterhood of deaf, hard of hearing and hearing women who carry strong ties with the deaf community, founded to provide all members equal access.

Our sorority's primary means of communication is through use of American Sign Language  in order to provide equal access to communication to those within our sorority, and in our immediate surroundings.

​

The Alpha Sigma Theta mascot is the mighty dolphin as we admire its intelligence and independent spirit.

Our colors, aqua and silver, represent our strength and ambitious nature.

​

Alpha Sigma Theta's gem is the pearl, and our flower is the blue carnation.
